PVC laminates are multi-layered laminate sheets having the support of Poly Vinyl Chloride. They exist by compressing paper and plastic resins under high and temperature. They are in use as a decorative layer on top of raw surfaces like plywood.

What are the properties of PVC laminates?

PVC laminate sheets are sleek and range from 0.05 mm to 2 mm in thickness. They are flexible & you can bend them up to 90 degrees around the edges. They are suitable for intricate designs with ridges. The material is moldable and comes in varied colours, patterns and textures. An assortment of wood, stone and leather make them appear in matte, metal, gloss & ultra-gloss finishes.

PVC laminates are resistant to water, heat, corrosion and termites, and treated to have anti-bacterial properties. It makes them ideal for modular kitchen units. They are more durable when compared to other finishes and hence are conducive to long term use & are economical.
